Every patient is different, with different needs, but something we recommend for everyone is routine cleanings at least every 6 months. This allows us to keep an eye on any health issues that may arise and treat issues before they become more serious. Catching health concerns early can save you the money and complications that can come with putting off health concerns. The quicker you can catch and treat a minor problem, the less likely you are to need more costly and invasive treatments like implants or bridges. For your cleaning, our staff will spend about 45 minutes cleaning, polishing, and removing tartar build up from the surface of your teeth. However, our staff is not just cleaning your teeth. Our doctor and staff will also do a full exam, checking for issues that you may not even be able to see. This includes checking for signs of tooth decay, gingivitis, and even oral cancer. During your cleaning, our staff will also apply a fluoride treatment to prevent future cavities
